BFBC2 - Bring us the console!

Dice and EA promised all the gamers that BF: Bad Company 2 would support dedicated servers after noticing the irritation by millions of competitive gamers around the world who was excited and got ripped off by MW2. Well, the two companies who works together has given us dedicated servers, but what for? when you can't mod your own server the way you like. Is this a new era of gaming? Where gamers don't have the ability to mod the games/servers anymore?

As an old FPS gamer, i know how important it is to give modders free hands to do whatever they want with their servers. If it was not available, then Soldier Of Fortune, Counterstrike, COD2, COD4 e.t.c would never be as famous as they've once been, and some of them still are. As a competitive gamer, who was looking forward to MW2 and especially BF:BC2. I was expecting a matchmode such as promode in Call Of Duty 4. A mod like that would bring more clans into the game, more activity in tournament ladder sites such as Clanbase, ESL e.t.c. Right now, the only hope we have is that BF:BC2 will open up the console as promised with the upcoming patch which seems to never be released. To give us free hands to modify our payed servers the way we like it.

BFBC2, was fun first weeks, but gets so damn boring just because there is no available mods. Hope there will be some in the future, otherwise another fail game just like MW2. Wasted money!

Nah, the game is good, can't argue with that. It's just us, we as a clan need a mod to fulfill our clan needs of competition. Mikro and Badboy play it everyday so I guess it suits some(thousands of hundreds!!)peop le. I play it sometimes as well but not as much as in the beginning. Don't know why but I get bored with games quickly nowadays. Maybe it's time to stop playing games and do some real shit in my life? NOT!! waaaaaaaaaa
