Joining

To join <E)mpire, you

- have to be 20 years or older.
- are not allowed to be a member of another clan.
- should have played on the <E)mpire server more than once.
- have teamspeak 3 installed

Members

As a member, you

- are expected to help other members with game settings, console commands, helping improve skill, etc.
- are expected to play on the <E)mpire server.
- are entitled to receiving help from any other members. Should another member refuse
to help or disrespect you in any way, bring this to the attention to the leaders so the
situation can be resolved without harming the clan.
- are asked to pay an amount of money per month for keeping the server running since servers costs money.
- are expected to visit forum and homepage regulary.
- are always expected to wear the <E)mpire tags in games.

Administrators

An administrator

- knows the game he or she is playing.
- knows how to deal with people of all ages and all kinds.
- knows how to communicate and work together with other admins.
- talks to the other players and asks them what they'd like to see on the server.
- takes suggestions for maps and mods to host.
- is just a part of the community that forms on the server.
- deals in a diligent way with unsavory players: people who seek to offend other players,
profane players, people who initiate personal attacks on other players, people who deliberately kill members of their own team (called teamkilling, abbreviated as TK), people who use programs like aimbots (scripts that aid in aiming at other players) to cheat, or people who exploit vulnerabilities in the game software itself to see through walls or become invincible. Warn abusers not to be disruptive, and if they continue to play in an unsavory fashion, kick them off of your server or even ban them based on their IP addresses. Take great care when banning someone as we don't want to ban a person just because they are really good. Always remember that the reason games exist is for people to have fun. If your server doesn't provide an atmosphere that promotes enjoyment, people won't play on it. If you don't have good admins, you won't have a good server. follow the rules of precedure which are posted on the private zone of our forums.
