S2 games have really made a fantastic job with the title Heroes of Newerth. HoN is an addictive real time strategy game that Empire members are all spending hours every week playing together. S2 games are once again doing a fantastic job of interacting with gamers via their official homepage. They're also adding new heroes and updates to the game regularly so that gamers won't get bored of the game very easily.

Dice and EA promised all the gamers that BF: Bad Company 2 would support dedicated servers after noticing the irritation by millions of competitive gamers around the world who was excited and got ripped off by MW2. Well, the two companies who works together has given us dedicated servers, but what for? when you can't mod your own server the way you like. Is this a new era of gaming? Where gamers don't have the ability to mod the games/servers anymore?

Microsoft has released its Office 2010 suite of business applications to manufacturing. Software Assurance downloads of Office 2010 will begin April 27, and beta testers have judged it an improvement over the current Office version. Microsoft Office 2010 is expected in stores in June. Web versions will compete with Google's free online apps.

At G-Star 2009 in Busan, South Korea, a consumer videogames show, NCsoft's booth had one of the biggest lineups outside of the StarCraft II setup. That's because the company was showing off an extensive amount of footage from its in-development MMO titled Blade & Soul. Though I'd seen video before, this particular setup was in a theatre with an absolutely enormous screen and booming sound system, which likely made it seem even more impressive.

Activision’s in-house development team, Treyarch, are poised to release the next in the series of those “other” Call of Duty games. But it looks like this year might see the end of the tried-and-true (and tried again) formula of World War II that has dominated the Call of Duty franchise right up until Modern Warfare showed that there was money to make away from the historical settings. Lots and lots of money.
